This week I decided to head back to SPARK and find another webinar. I found a webinar that was about how to handle large classes when you don't have much time to see them. I thought that this was going to give me some good class management strategies or games that I could use for the large group, but they gave me a lot of different ways to create a family PE night with the missing time that I have in class. The webinar also went over a bunch of scarf tossing activities that don't take up much space, and are very easy for students to figure out. I did not really feel like I got out of the webinar what I was looking for so I will have to try and find one for next week.
Well, at least you were reminded out that not everything you see advertised is not always as advertised.
ReplyDeleteI used to have some classes of 400+ when I taught in Singapore. Juggling fireballs helped to keep their attention.😀
